John didn't know what to expect when he told Alice he was taking her out that night but her reaction could only be described as simply Alice. She had smiled, strode over to where he was sitting, gently kissed his head and whispered in his ear "I'll be getting ready then." She came out in a simple black dress and a sly smile. "So where to?" She asked as she linked her arm with his.
When they arrived at the aquarium Alice gave a small laugh. They walked through displays, admiring the fish quietly when they stopped at the shark tanks. Alice leaned her head on John's shoulder and sighed as a great white swam past them. "Yes," Alice smiled, "I like them better in aquariums." John laughed.
